Taylormade Burner Fairway Woods

Burner Steel Fairway Woods
Great forgiveness and a boost in getting the ball airborne on a long, high ball flight are the hallmarks of the Burner lineup of fairway woods.

The Burner Steel model has a large, classically shaped steel clubhead that TaylorMade claims has the highest moment of inertia (MOI) of any fairway wood on the market. TaylorMade says the MOI of the Burner Steel fairway wood is 30-percent higher than that of the company's r7 Steel fairway woods.

The Burner Steel fairway woods come with a light TaylorMade RE*AX graphite shaft and light grip to promote faster swing speed and faster ball speed for increased distance.

These woods come in 3-wood (15 degrees loft), 5-wood (18 degrees) and 7-wood (21 degrees) models. The MSRP is $235 per club with graphite shaft, or $210 with steel shaft. They will be available at retail beginning April 20, 2007.

Burner Ti Fairway Woods
The Burner Ti fairway woods feature a titanium head that is oversized for a fairway wood and what TaylorMade calls "bullet-shaped." The Burner Ti metals boast the highest MOI of any TaylorMade titanium fairwood woods.

The combination of high MOI and low, deep center of gravity also addresses forgiveness and ease of launch. Like the Burner Steel, the Burner Ti comes with light TaylorMade RE*AX graphite shaft and a light grip to help promote faster swing speeds.

The Burner Ti fairway wood will be available in 3-wood (15 degrees), 5-wood (18 degrees) and 7-wood (21 degrees) beginning June 15, 2007. The MSRP will be $350 per club with graphite shaft.

Burner TP Fairway Woods
The Burner TP fairway woods are designed more for the better players, carrying TaylorMade's "tour preferred" designation. The face of the Burner TP is deeper, the clubhead is pear-shaped, and the sole has a "compact footprint."

Burner TP fairway woods come with a SuperFast RE*AX TP 65-gram shaft with .335" tip, which combines a high kickpoint with low torque to promote a lower, penetrating trajectory and give more skilled players more control.

The Burner TP fairway wood models are Tour Spoon (13 degrees), Tour 3-wood (15 degrees) and Tour 5-wood (18 degrees). MSRP is $295 per club with graphite shaft or $240 with steel shaft. They will be available at retail beginning May 11, 2007.

Burner Rescue Hybrids
Forgiveness, higher launch angle and longer carry are the goals of the technology that goes into the Burner Rescue hybrids. These hybrids have a steel clubhead that is 7-percent larger than the TaylorMade Rescue Dual hybrid, and with a footprint that is 13-percent larger.

The larger clubhead allows for a higher MOI. A shallow clubface and low, far-back center of gravity contribute to the ease-of-use characteristics.

The Burner Rescue hybrids also come with a light graphite shaft and light grip to promote higher swing speeds. These hybrids come in 3 (19 degrees), 4 (22 degrees), 5 (25 degrees) and 6 (28 degrees) models. The MSRP is $200 per club with graphite shaft and $175 per club with steel shaft. They will be available at retail beginning April 27.

TaylorMade's R11 Line Clubs

Separated by a few months of product launches we intend to set the record straight that the R11 Fairway is just as amazing as the R11 driver. The Fairway features the same Flight Control Technology as the Driver which allows players to adjust each one of their shots. This means that the adjustable sole changes face and launche angles. The most eye catching part of this fairway is the impressive all white non glare clubhead finish. That's what's not as impressive the adjustability and versatility is what really distinguishes this clubs above the rest. With the ability to adjust the club to either a neutral or closed face allows golfers the unique ability to shape their shots.

The time has come where TaylorMade has finally unveiled and finished up their R11 line. With an incredibly popular TaylorMade R11 driver (highly anticipated) comes  the TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood, and finally the Taylormade R11 Irons. After TaylorMade began selling white-headed Ghost putters, I figured it was just a matter of time before the concept spread to other clubs. That time has come. TaylorMade's Burner line of metalwoods for 2011 also will have white heads. If both the R11 and Burner show up dressed in white, it makes sense. White is cool in golf right now. So TaylorMade could become a show pony for white.

Riding on the success of their R11 driver, which has already claimed huge wins this season. The driver was most recently used in back-to-back wins Darren Clarke at the Open Championship and then Sean O'Hair and the RBC Canadian Open. Both used their favorite R11 driver to make it happen. Although the R11 line has received the most attention there has been just as many converts to the Burner SuperFast 2.0 line including PGA Players Jason Day and Y.E. Yang.

They basically put every type of new technology they could into these irons. Blending distance, forgiveness, easy launch, with a soft feel and sound for a solid hitting club. I like that they still have that classic look, great lines but you can definitely tell they have all the high-tech details.

We're not going to lie the fairway wood is just as impressive as the R11 driver. The adjustability is incredible, ball flights out of this world. If you are looking for a customizable fairway wood look no further.

At long last TaylorMade finally unveiled their R11 Irons. TaylorMade's latest expansion to the overwhelmingly popular R11 line was to create an iron set that was engineered for players who appreciate the shape and refinement of a tour-grade iron but need the help of technology to launch the ball high, straight, and long with less effort, regardless of handicap. Already tested as a forgiving and easy to hit club. The R11 irons are definitely not blades or a set of tour only clubs. Designed with more forgiveness in mind they appeal to a much larger audience. On the heels of Ping's big announcement for their new golf clubs for next season I'm sure was no coincidence.

With overwhelming support from fans and players TaylorMade has made quiet the name for their brand this season. Their 2011 R11 line is no disappointment to fans or players with exceptional reviews and over 33 victories worldwide in 2011.

Where to buy cheap TaylorMade R11 clubs?  I found a site price lower to $169 at this golf shop, except the golf clubs I mentioned above, they also supply r11 golf bag, taylormade rescue 11.  You can buy the compelete line products with big discount price, that's why I stronly recommend it.
