Taylormade Rescue 11 is the newest

For our first equipment review, I decided to try one of Taylormade’s new clubs. I’ve owned a Taylormade driver for about four or five years starting with an r7 and eventually graduating to the r9, which has made a cozy spot in my golf bag.
The new clubs offer technological advances meant to limit swing mishaps and come with a bold new look that stands out from other clubs. The drivers, woods, rescues and even putters are now covered in white.
The white club heads are not only eye-poppingly “pretty,” but there’s also a reason behind the design. The white is supposed to help the golfer to have better alignment and to see the swing path better. This makes it easier to aim at a target and visualize the shot.
The drivers, woods and the rescues also offer 3D Tuning, which gives you the option to change the loft of the club to higher or lower and the club face to open or closed.
The 3D Tuning could be helpful if you’re hitting a shot over a tree and you want a higher tragectory. All you have to do is grab your wrench, adjust the club and boom – ball flight to please. If you’re slicing the ball to the right continuously and you want it to draw a little to the left, all you have to do is grab the tool, close the club face a little bit and boom – it should draw down the middle. Just note this isn’t allowed during tournament play and depending how long the adjustment takes, it might be impractical to tinker with the club before each shot.
